Asalam-u-alaykum. Hello Imtiaz. I am Shanaz Begum, a British Indian Muslim. I was born and raised in Britain and have never been to India or any Islamic country. Therefore, like many other young British teenagers, I have found it very hard to understand Islam, even after private tuitioning since I was three. However, I have found your books to be the most amazing Islamic books I have ever read in my life. My brother bought them for me when he went to Syria. The books are very simple to understand and are liberal, I guess because you are an American Muslim and I can relate to them as naturally as I have adapted to much of the Western culture. I am a Law student so I do not get much time to read the English translation of the Koran. So, I would be grateful if you could please send me some more of your books.

Respected Brother in Islam, Assalamu Alaikum. I derived great pleasure from reading your most informative book entitled SPEECHES FOR AN INQUIRING MIND. I believe that this extraordinary work relating to matters pertaining to Hadith and Fiqh and substantiated by Qur’anic injunctions, must be more widely read. Its content matter makes it highly suitable for it to be incorporated as part of the core syllabus in Muslim schools in South Africa. In this regard, I humbly seek your approval and acknowledgement to publish this book in its entirety, expressly for the purpose mentioned above. May Almighty Allah reward you abundantly for your efforts in promoting the Deen. Was-salaam.

‘Reminders for People of Understanding’ is indeed a treasure of knowledge carrying innummerable pearls of wisdom gathered from the Holy Quran and Hadith. It deals with the subtle realities of life and offers practical guidelines for human beings to lead a virtuous life. Another unique feature of this book is that it includes highly informative articles on the Prophet’s Mosque. These articles are so fascinating that the reader feels as if he is being carried away to a guided tour of the mosque and is being introduced to its various parts with all the details of their history and sanctity.

The moment I started reading ‘International Muslim Youth’ I couldn’t put it down until I reached the last page. It is a very informative booklet for non-Muslims wanting to know about Islam. It also serves to strenghthen the faith of Muslims and finally gives Muslims an insight on how to propagate Islam. May Allah grant you a successful life in this world and in the life to come.

Assalamualaikom, Bismila. Dear Sir, I read your book with the title, “THE TRUE STORIES OF AMERICAN NEW MUSLIMS” and it was very facinating and I will only tell you may the good Lord (Allah) bless you and may He increase your days on this earth. We the young Muslim ladies want to follow in your footsteps and Inshal-Allah hope to become devoted Muslims like you are. Ameen.

Imtiaz Ahmad, Assalamu Alaikum. I had the privilege of reading your book titled “Speeches for an Inquiring Mind” given to me as sadaqat in Madina Al-Munawwara during this year’s Hajj and I am pleased to let you know that the book is very enlightening, educative, scholastic and wonderful. Your effort is worth commending.
The wisdom and foresight you have shown in contributing to the growth and development of Islam in this facet is unquantifiable. I would like to seize this opportunity to pray to Allah SWA to reward you with His Al-Jannah Firdausi, Amin. The purpose of this letter, therefore, is to inform you of my desire to seek your indulgence and earnest permission to translate this book into the Hausa language for the benefit of the Hausa readers in Nigeria, Africa and the world over.

Dear Sir, Your book “SPEECHES FOR AN INQUIRING MIND” is amongst the best books I have ever read. The thing which attracted me instantly was the title of the book itself. Its unique style and lucidity of expression also fascinated me. In addition, every chapter is well balanced and optimally tailored. I am very happy now that I have it on my table. Your book Reminders for People of Understanding is also a great effort. I appreciated the important notes at the end of some chapters, which will be of immense help to people of understanding if Allah Wills.

I have only read two of your books and I must say they are fantastic. I have read a lot of Islamic books, but I have not found an informative book written in such simple and clear language. The issues raised in your books relate and fascinate many teenagers like me.

I read International Muslim Youth. It was so inspiring, that at times while reading I did not notice tears falling down my cheeks. I learnt that many of our Muslim brothers are doing extraordinary things just to propagate Islam and they enjoyed it. I felt ashamed that I am not doing what is expected of me as a Muslim.

I had a great feeling after reading International Muslim Youth. May Allah bless you for bringing such experiences to the attention of born Muslims who take this great gift of iman so causally.
